Our work focuses on key areas that promote inclusion, skills development, and sustainable growth in Kosovo
Social Entrepreneurship
We promote innovative and sustainable business models that address social challenges and create inclusive opportunities. ETRI supported the development of a women-led social enterprise initiative focused on providing safe taxi services for women in Kosovo. This initiative continues to operate successfully after more than five years, demonstrating long-term impact and sustainability.
Women Empowerment
We support women’s economic empowerment by strengthening their capacities and access to opportunities. ETRI has worked closely with women’s associations in Kosovo, providing support in business planning and organizational development over a three-year period, enabling them to grow and sustain their activities.
Youth Development
Empowering young people is at the core of our work. ETRI supported 10 youth centres across Kosovo in developing three-year strategic plans, helping them improve their services and outreach. In addition, we have implemented numerous training and capacity development programs, benefiting more than 1,000 young people.
Digital Transformation
We support the integration of digital tools and skills in education and organizational development. ETRI has worked with schools in Kosovo to implement digitalization programs and provide training based on structured learning modules, helping improve digital competencies.
Clean Energy
We are committed to promoting sustainable energy solutions and raising awareness about clean energy practices. Through our activities, we aim to support the transition toward environmentally responsible and energy-efficient communities in Kosovo.
Circular Economy
We contribute to the development of sustainable economic models that reduce waste and promote resource efficiency. ETRI has supported an EU-funded project in Kosovo focused on developing a strategic plan for the implementation of a three-year circular economy initiative.
